Each day in Math, we explore numbers through the number of the day and mini math, where we learn about number sense, tallying, odd/even, sequencing numbers, word problems, data analysis and place value. Through centers and games we have been exploring these skills in greater detail.
Each week we spend 45 minutes working on the computers using Mathletics. This program can be accessed via the school website, and is a paid for program which is paid for by the school and available for all students at Woodlands. Your child should have their Mathletics log in card for home use. I encourage you to explore this website as often as possible. The more questions your child does, the more points they learn along with the more skills they develop. See the LINK page for a quick link to this webpage.
